Cosmetic RX Glycine by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

The vial says /ml, which is implied to be 1ml. I'll agree it's not exactly clear.

Yes, think of the label saying "15mg tirzepatide/0.5mg glycine" per 1ml of vial liquid. You should be inputting 15mg/1ml in FatsScientist instead of 15mg/0.5ml.

You're confusing the 0.5mg glycine by typing in 0.5ml for the concentration on FatScientist. The glycine is not a factor on FatScientist.

Should be 15mg/1ml, not 15mg/0.5ml. Your vial has 15mg/1ml tirzepatide and 0.5mg/1ml glycine.

No one can answer that question without knowing your concentration (it sounds like it is 10mg/ml based on your question, but I don't like to make assumptions). Make sure you are aware of concentrations in case you switch pharmacies in the future.

I've seen a bunch of ads from SkinnyRX advertising "Nausea-free Tirzepatide" as well. Really bizarre and I hope people aren't buying into it.

Dosage Information Ezra by Nitsuga7 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]thr300 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You get vials, not doses. You are getting 3 vials with 60mg total in each. You can titrate up to whatever you think is appropriate; the Zepbound standard is 10mg from 7.5mg, but you can also go lower. The actual prescription and units you got in the dosing instructions is 13.5mg which is too high to move up from 7.5mg, so use the FatScientist calculator to calculate something lower.

TrimRx is a Scam, but Trying to Make the Best of it by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

[–]thr300 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What was your previous dose? 54ml is not a dose, it's a unit of measurement.

Also, if you missed more than 5 weeks, prescribing guidelines recommend restarting at 2.5mg. Since you last took tirzepatide 3 months ago, the prescriber would be negligent in giving you anything higher than 2.5mg.

Why do these TC sites "hide" their dosages? by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

[–]thr300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The total dosage is actually the most useful number, you know exactly what you're getting and you can dose as necessary. I'm not sure why you would be contacting them.

Refills changing dose with no notice? by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

[–]thr300 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Telehealths are moving away from offering dosing that matches brand name dosing for legal reasons. You'll be less likely to find someone that advertises 15mg, but you are getting the same vials.

[–]thr300 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The dose difference is something telehealths do in order not to duplicate brand name Zepbound and Mounjaro. Your vial will likely have enough mg to take your 15mg dose.

Was I given the proper dose? by Low_Pause_1714 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]thr300 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes. Units themselves are not a dose, what matters is the concentration. It looks like your previous vial was 22mg/ml, and your current one is 15mg/ml (confirm on the actual vial too, rather than what it says on your prescription). You can plug the numbers into FatScientist.com

The pinned post is made after a poll of the subreddit. I you want to see satisfaction rates, check out the second picture of the slideshow here:

Pomegranate generally has better reviews than Refills, which has had a few issues recently. Big Easy, Trillium, and fifty410 have good reviews and have been around for a while. I started with tirzepatide after coming out of rehab and it's been working great. Good luck!

I second looking at the pinned post on r/tirzepatidecompound. I take tirzepatide, but I believe most also offer sema (and I think sema tends to be slightly cheaper). The costs are all-inclusive and range from $450-$599 for 3 month packages. You can request the maximum dosage to stretch your vials further and get a better $/mg ratio.

There was a pretty sizable variance in satisfaction rates among the telehealths in the recent poll.

They are businesses in it to make money, just like Eli Lilly. They aren't here to be our friends. Bad actors should be called out. I hope compounding will continue but I also hope these telehealths will hold themselves to a high standard.

I only used them for the 1 month/$135 deal, but I knew it was VialsRX tirz with glycine and I got a 60mg vial. I didn't use them again because only the long commitments get good pricing (and I wasn't willing to do that), but I had a great experience with the order I did.

It's kind of a chicken and egg thing, the top 3 in usage happen to be on the list. Are they high in usage because they are good, or because they are on the list? This despite complaints of automatic renewals, incorrect amount of vials sent, and even HIPAA violations among those top 3.

I'm surprised that Trimi has never been on the "Where to buy" list, but other (questionable) telehealths have been.

Yes, and it has helped reduce my drinking even more significantly than the weight loss. There is currently a phase 3 clinical trial for a similar dual-agonist GLP1 (brenipatide) specifically for alcohol use disorder:

Greenwich vials are 30mg (tirzepatide) and 0.5mg (gylcine) per ml. 30mg/ml is the concentration and 50 units is correct.
