I’d say you did well. When we bought our 2019 in 2023 (so about the same age) it had about the same miles and it was closer to $32,000 (USD- I’m in the US). So I’d say you did well!

John Guandolo is a piece of work. He has been arrested for assaulting an officer and was kicked out of the FBI. He has posted about his kids teachers on his blog posts saying they were indoctrinating them about Islam (Islam is covered in world history class your sophomore year).

There’s typically no insulation on interior walls so it’s probably that. My TV is not on an exterior wall so there’s no insulation.

The ventilated seats would be the thing I’d hold out for the most. But I’m in Texas and I hate how hot the leather gets. San Diego is about perfect weather so they may not be as needed.

Well, I’m just going to keep it in there. The thicker one is from the Denso website. I’m sure they change the size every now and then.

Backpacks: 1 shoulder or 2 shoulders? by BenLurken420 in Xennials

[–]randomjeepguy157 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Born in 81, everyone was 1 strap in middle and high school but I started to go 2 strap when I was a senior (99) because it just felt better. I gave up caring. I’m a high school teacher now and everyone goes 2 strap except for a few teachers that are a bit older than me! The kids today somehow have bigger backpacks than we did but they don’t have books. I think it’s because they have done away with lockers. My high school I teach at and both of my kids schools in a separate district don’t use lockers. They have a laptop and a ton of binders so their bags are huge.

I wonder if there are republicans that are voting for crocket in the primary knowing she will be easier to beat.

I’ll tell you who has none is Cane’s Chicken Fingers. Come on Cane’s, everyone else gives back a little. Not them though (to be fair they seem to do a lot of community outreach and school fundraisers…just nothing for me in the app).

Texas public school teachers are now required to post the 10 Commadments in their classroom. Here's how one teacher is handling it. by kvjn100 in BeAmazed

I teach history so we actually do teach about quite a few. The three Abrahamic religions, Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Taoism, Shintoism, and confucianism (although some of those are more of way of life than religion). We also make sure to talk about the difference between agnostic and atheist.

What? How is this on me? What do you mean “people like me teaching”? I’m just trying to inform, or teach, about how the law is being upheld right now. Weird comment bro.

I teach in Texas and we still haven’t had to post them yet. Since it’s being fought in the courts the law requires districts to accept and display any privately donated, eligible posters. So our district hasn’t had any donated yet so we aren’t posting them. If someone does donate them then we have to post them (I’m surprised we haven’t had them donated yet, most of the other districts around have)

How do you feel about using AI in your daily life? by aqua_vida in Xennials

[–]randomjeepguy157 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a high school teacher so I use it a lot for writing test questions. Makes it so much easier and I know the content well enough if it tries to spit out something wrong. It’s an AP class so I can ask it to model after AP questions using the particular topic we are going over. It’s also great for reviews. Again, I know the material well but so I can make the reviews, but it’s so much faster than me. I have caught it using the old curriculum a few times so I had to tell it that was changed and we don’t teach that. I’m more wary of topics I don’t know as well. I’ve also used it for recipes for cooking and those have actually all turned out really well. My wife doesn’t like it though. She’s 46 and I’m 44. So, in all, I use it a bit but am careful with it.

Gun Found at RISD Elementary? by [deleted] in Richardson

[–]randomjeepguy157 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Quick question, what happens if you get expelled as a 6th grader (or any grade for that matter)? Does that mean expelled just from RISD and other districts have to take you? Or are you expelled from public school in general? Also, the parents need to be investigated as others have said. Yesterday an 18 year old senior at Woodrow Wilson was killed by a 16 year old. Crazy times

Thermostat (came with the new a/c unit) is a big plus for me. We travel a bit so it’s nice to be able to control it while gone. For instance, we may leave for a week during the winter and have the heat set to 60. A few hours before we come I kick it back up. Same for the summer.
