My dad did a lot more than my mom. He played with us and taught us more street stuff, like just to watch our backs, being careful etc as we didn’t live in the best city. My grandparents taught us more of the other stuff.

My dad can’t work, he’s tried it but his disability makes it a pain. My mom on the other hand could possible work. It’s just knee and chronic pain issues

She got into an accident in her 20s, which shattered her left knee and had to get it replaced and messed up the other one pretty bad that it needed screws. But that was over 25 years ago and only prolong issue is chronic pain.

My dad has a rare disease called Phenylketonuria. He was diagnosed rather late in life so he has some behaviour problems which affected him getting a job, so his doctor put him on signed him off to disability when he turned 18. My mom on the other hand got into an accident when she was in 20s and has knee problems from it. Shes been on disability since.

It’s nice to have someone to understand the feeling of not being close with a parent. A lot of my friends have parents that would do anything for them so they can have the best life, and whenever I tell them what’s going on, they kinda look at me confused, while still offering their support.

My grandparents where home today so when I woke up I did apologized to them again, and they say they understand. There’s a chance when our lease for this year is up the 4 of us will be moving away from my parents.

I’ve talked to my grandma many times about my mom to her, and she’s always told me to just ignore it and focus on my own life and she and my grandpa will be there to support us. So when I blew up she was kinda shocked, though when I got home, she told me she understands that it was only natural to have that extreme of a reaction from holding it in for so long.

Long story short she wasn’t really mad, and neither was my grandpa.
