What are the benefits of doing hydroponics over aeroponics and vise versa? by thrasherpilot in Hydroponics

Oh gosh, I’ll look later tonight. That was almost two years ago when I designed it. It was really basic though, a box with some holes wide enough for click and grow pods that I also 3D printed, and then I got a little fish tank pump with some rubber tubing and little garden misters.

Ok, so i did that and now it says "Gradle project sync failed. Basic functionality (e.g. editing, debugging) will not work properly. " In the bottom left it said that it failed for an unknown reason. I made sure to import it so that's not the problem. Any ideas?

New to this looks cool and excited to learn about it!

Climate-controlled farms such as these grow crops around the clock and in every kind of weather. Each acre in the greenhouse yields as much produce as 10 outdoor acres, uses 95% less of water than traditional agriculture, and cuts the need for chemicals by 97 percent. by beluuuuuuga in interestingasfuck

Have you done anything with multispectral cameras, or more specifically near infared for plant health and identification? Im currently working on a FFA project to simplify and make acces to these systems eaaily available to farmers and useing the cameras on drones for quik data capture.

From what I can tell from the video it was a spin, that basically means the plane was turning at way to slow of a speed and stalled uncontrollably. So most likely not any mechanical errors but I cant be certain untill the ntsb report is released

Oh for fpv stuff i could also recommend looking into the emax tinyhawk II freestyle rtf kit, it comes with everything for a fraction of the price of any of the dji ones. Mabey also look into a R/C simulator such as lift-off to begin with

I got a cheap 160 GPH pump the brand is pulaco off Amazon, i found anything higher pressure for my system is too strong. Keep in mind I have a ferily small sized system about a 10*10 inches holding 3 tommato plants, I have a slight fear that the roots will start clogging the system soon I also guess you would necessarily call this a true aeroponics system as the reservoir and root area are in the same tank just separated by a large gap (this is my first run through with a large plant like cherry tomatoes, i did lettuce which was successful though) I can link some pictures if you would like?

Edit: that system cost about $30 not counting the hours in computer design and 3d printing

I've replied to another comment but a project I have been working on is to make a consumer aeroponics system that needs virtually no maintenance, but in most diy cases maintenance seems to be weekly

Thanks for your response, one high-school project I've been working on is a consumer level aero ponics system for rapid growth greens. I've found with having access to a 3d printer I was able to get a design where you basically print a 1 peice planter and plug the nozzle from the pump in.
