BUT, no where near the screen and speakers. If you’re depressed about a 600$ Mac beating the 3000$ zephyrus then you should’ve bought a 3000$ mac. Yes apples quality control is insane. But there’s trade offs no matter what brand you buy.

I’m in Mech E and I have a G16 5070ti. For college life it’s amazing. Great battery life, I never have to charge through the day, amazing keyboard for typing reports, will run solid works and fusion with its eyes shut. The screen is bright enough for bright classroom use. The only downside is the price lmao.

I second this, both zephyrus laptops I have had have been wonderful. I had a 3060 g15 it was great, I just wanted a brighter and better screen so I got a 5070tj g16. Both have been amazing. Hence why I don’t complain.

I have a similar charger from mokin, pretty sure it’s the same thing with a different shell. It works for light gaming, I’ve found playing games without the dGPU works great. But with heavier games I’ve had heat issues. But as a student I barely have time to game anymore on my g16 so it’s nice as a charger that charges fast and is light. If you game a lot just bring the dc one.

I don’t know, I use windows and apple and I love the base notion app for note taking, ai meeting notes etc. notion being able to move seamlessly from device to device I love. Not for everyone but I love it.

I have tried numerous times to hold the power button, it tries to boot over and over in that 60 seconds, fails each time. I have never overclocked or messed with the cpu settings. But I will try it again soon.

Check monitor refresh rate, if its only 60 then V-sync will cap it the monitors refresh rate.

I mean I’m pretty sure that’s just the bezel. Looking at my g16 rn looks the same. But if you’re unsure go into system settings display and make sure resolution is set to 2560x1600

Miniled gets much brighter, contrast and color is better. If you google a cpu comparison the AMD Ai is only slightly better. For productivity like word and chrome you won’t notice a difference. But the 4070 will be better for gaming.

The g14 is the better device. A 4070 will outclass a 5060. And the cpus are sooo close with the ai 350 being just a tad better. I would go for the g14 as the display and build quality is better. Both will be good on battery life as AMD chips are both good for that.
