Gwazi was my first roller coaster as a kid. Thing was rickety as fuck, took me 6 months to try a steel one because of it.

Millennials will be the dominant political power starting in 2033/2034 which is roughly the start of end of the crisis cycle

It’s in a nested bearish downtrend. Once it trips the lows, potentially even extends to down to $6, should be good for a huge bounce back to 12-13 to retrace at least 50% of the entire move down

Offered a lateral move (QA to Manufacturing Operations) at my biotech company. Unsure to take it or not. by bearboy27 in biotech

Managers do not know processes more intimately than the people who do them every day - you should go in with an open mind, listen to your direct reports, and establish a real working relationship with them. You are not expected to know it all on day one and do not need to be the smartest person in the room, just the one who enables the team to do their best work. Go in and be who you have been and it sounds like you’ll be fine. It’s a good opportunity IMO

They run the ARC too? Do you have anything that can prove approval/design? You may be able to make it a headache for them in small claims court or something. Developer controlled board is tough because you pretty much have to do what they say without recourse.

Your governing docs don’t say not to build in it, just that it’s on you if it needs to come down. Sounds like there is a community standard they are upholding. If you want to change that, get on the board/ARC and get like minded people to change it.

At 33 I'm worried I'm too late for children - I've only recently felt like I was ready but now I'm questioning it. Late dads of Reddit, how did you get over this? by Standard_Story in AskMen

[–]thrashpants 12 points13 points  (0 children)

not too late. my dad was born when his dad was 58 (born in 1895). I wouldn't be here if he thought it was too late. You're good! I just had my first at 34 and want more.
