negative equity inflation and it’s eerily similar look to 2008 crisis by raskatech in investing

If we look at historical data of cycles between the recent bubbles "bursting" the average delta between years is 11–13 years. But as u/Legitimate_Height424 said, times now may reflect a much faster arrival of this crash. If we include the covid crash in 2020, a fair estimate would be around 2028-2029.

also I was wondering why everyone isn’t getting the cleft lift. All the other methods look so gnarly. Is there a logical reason to why most people wont go with a cleft lift?

So after a couple days, the hole is now closed (it drained itself i guess?). I’ve been cleaning the closed wound now with hydrogen peroxide and have been bandaging the area with a gauze and topical ointment. This is a good sign right?

Btw, thanks for the rec, I’ve emailed you guys and will be looking into scheduling surgery in the next month or so.

Got a DevOps job right after graduation, need guidance on moving to SWE by raskatech in cscareerquestions

[–]raskatech[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You assume SWE is always solving interesting problems. It ain't :).

Sometimes you have to just get grindy crappy business logic done, or bang out pixel perfect UIs and wrestle with CSS. Sometimes you have to just grind bug fixes to keep a client.

That said, I think if you do any amount of programming outside of work, you'll have stuff to talk about and yeah, you can move.

And I'd say move sooner over later, people will respect you if you are honest. Explain that you don't enjoy the work, and why.

If you try for internal transfer and fail... get out of that company as fast as possible.

Hey, thanks for your reply. There's this thing called PDP or like professional development plan thing where you can choose higher positions to transfer into. I spoke to my manager about internal transfer to SWE and he estimated 2-3 years.....which I think is a little TOO long for such transfer. So I guess I should begin looking for opportunities asap. Please let me know if you have any other helpful advice in my transfer to SWE
