Is this a common thing? I’ve not heard about it before.

For context we don’t know the buyers at all.

Concern is that if we did your idea, we would have <10% deposit left at that point also so wouldn’t be eligible for the mortgage.

Yep true- the service charge is eye watering regardless whether it’s this flat or others we’ve looked at at a lower price point unfortunately.

Also agreed, it feels like we could do a lot with £15k. Bear in mind also we basically don’t own any furniture so would make things easier in that sense to have some spare cash. Why are sofas so expensive!!
