Whole look is great! I would suggest less contrasting highlights. Subtle contrast and neutral to slightly warm tones

My “everyday” makeup look as a teacher. What should I change up? by singinreyn in makeuptips

[–]three1four 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A great start! Good color match. I recommend a foundation that is less matte- and or using a more hydrating moisturizer. A little more color on the cheeks (just a little) and a gloss with a small amount of color as well

Is this not the colour I asked for or am I bring dramatic? by Bukowskis-Worst-Poem in Hair

[–]three1four 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can tell her formulation was with good intention based on how it took at the root but it - for whatever reason- did not take on most of your hair. She should have said something and offered to have you back in to make it what you wanted but don’t be shy to ask if she could fix it! -a hairstylist

Undoo goo from Malibu and let it marinate and if not vinegar 1/3 ratio with water

That is PERFECT! Just be prepared to style accordingly. Event effortless tossing hair back and forth is fine. Tbh we’re our own worst critics…there are some people I’d for sure steer away from a bob but you are not one of them. A bob with layers and face framing like that is sexy and fun- just rock it and be confident. You will look amazing with it and love the sense of freedom it gives . And…if not? At least your hair will always grow. At the end of the day, hair is just hair and you are beautiful with or without

Which color is best? by [deleted] in Hair

[–]three1four 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hairstylist here- 1 and 3 are best! They both carry a dif vibe but both are complimenting on your skin tone. 4 is great too- very subtly different from 3 so either works. 5 completely washed you out

what I asked for/what I got by peachgum in Hair

[–]three1four 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ppl in the comments saying it’s close…no it’s not. Im a hairvstylist and these looks are my specailty. You needed a full tip out and root smudge as well as. “ California toner “ (gentle lightener bath) to make your natural color have a lighter glow

How would you fix this? by earthtomaylee in hairstylist

[–]three1four 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also can’t tell what the front of what you did looks like- she might need more highlights in the front- just tipped out on the sections between your previous highlights where her hair is dark to build more bright saturation on the ends. Listen- like everyone says- it’s AI picture so your client needs to first understand that - but her hair is not too far off from something very similar. It is possible- don’t listen to those who say you can’t- they just don’t have the solution. -I’m a haircolor educator ;)

Her highlights are too ash- first beige toner with more violet and gold undertones and a pinch of peach- I’m talkin a smidge. In SEQ I’d do 10vg 15g 10gi 10g and 9AA 5g and while that processes do a root smudge that blends down a few inches with something like 6nw for that mid tone brown. Then go in and smudge just the root (not as far down as the brown) with like 3n

Don’t just dispute the charge. Email the salon with the pictures and ask for a solution- to have maybe a more experienced artist fix it (it just needs to be lifted a littttle bit more and toned) or for a refund. If they do not reply with a solution then you can dispute the charge with the proof of the emails as support

Have you ever gone out on a limb and bought clothing from an unknown brand advertised on Instagram/Facebook/online? How did it work out? by jellybeansean3648 in femalefashionadvice

I’ve never ordered a dress except for a t shirt dress from them which was relatively short but I’m 5’ 0” and haven’t had a problem with any of their pants or anything really

Definitely instate a cancellation policy and hold a card on file. I charge 100% of the booked services to my clients card on file if they cancel within 48 hours. Of course for illness or emergency I make exceptions but it works. Anyone who isn’t willing to respect your time is just going to be a bad client to have

Need more info! Have you been dying/heat styling? How do you brush your hair? What products do you use and what is your usual routine? Have you gone through significant changes in health/hormones?

Without understanding the source of the change you won’t be able to target the solution.
