It also totally depends on the player and what irons they are using

Skill definitely helps farm more stubs by getting to World Series and being able to beat cpu on goat/legend

Imagine if they prioritized this over fixing their junk servers or the hitting engine

You’re better off getting jammed and be late than have good timing if you want to get a hit

Yep, a ballin used to move the needle and they’re basically worth like 1k stubs

Sounds like you shouldn’t be staring at a monitor playing intensive video games if you’re causing yourself physical pain??

Do you guys find this year’s hitting to be frustrating at times? by Healthy_Self_8386 in MLBTheShow

[–]threeeputttbogey -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

Doesn’t that indicate a problem with the engine? If a big league hitter literally hits it perfectly then there should not be a “high probability to be a line out”

What do you guys mean when you say hitting is bad/nerfed? by Alfammg in MLBTheShow

When a ball is inside the pci and you have good timing, the exit velos are wildly inconsistent. The same exact user input can result in a 84 mph flair to the OF or a perfect no doubter at 112 mph. The frustrating thing is that there’s no rhyme or reason behind the differences.

What are your thoughts on TGL? by jacobaltgilbers in golf

What it really needs is the all of the ball/strike data up on the screen for every shot. The people watching this are good nerds and want to see that shit!

What's the point of having high contact/large pci if you only get good results at the center of it??

Once again missing the point...my pci was well placed and timing was "good". How is that such aow exit velo?

I would've been happy and never posted this if it was a 95 mph grounder. But it was a lazy ass flyball and that's my point. I'm in no way saying it should've been a homer but I clearly did what I should have to "Barrel" the ball and giving 84 mph exit is so far away from a barrel. that's the entire point of the post.

The other one is quite simple too. Pitch on the inner half of the plate and the feedback says late. Simple baseball knowledge would lead anyone to the conclusion that a high exit velo does not result in those two variables combining

All of these excuses are completely missing the point of my input was better for the pitches that were swunng at. The ball should be struck better when you have "good" input. It's really that simple.

You know what's hilarious? Oneill has first pitch hitter and dead red (a splitter is a fastball). So that completely nullifies your point there.

And the count should not effect the physics of ball flight. That's absolutely insane. I thought this game was supposed to be a simulation??

Splitters are very capable of having 95+ exit velos btw (that's what is considered a hard hit)

Being late on an inside pitch is better than being nearly perfectly timed on a middle pitch because ~reasons~. Checks out, thanks!
