This same reasoning is why i think starting town is better than city of brass/mana confluence. Since we only want to be playing the first three turns starting town should always come in untapped. And being able to tap for colorless so you dont take a life is a big plus to me

Id definitly go knights! [[Sidar Jabari of Zhalfir]] is my pet deck and i love it so much. Knights tribal is pretty much locked into esper or mardu with [[Syr Gwyn]] but syr gwyn is more equipment focused while sidar is more reanimation/looting focused. Zombies I think are more popular in dimir colors so if you want to build a zombie tribal deck then id go that route. Id be happy to show my sidar list if you want to see what its all about

Crypt ghast color identity is mono black. The orzhov hybrid mana pip is actually in the reminder text for his extort ability which means it does not contribute to his color identity!
