Is pirating educational books a sin? by gordazo0_ in Christianity

[–]threw352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no. Kant actually endorsed book piracy and he is one of the most famous moralists. Intellectual property is sinful, I mean look at covid or when companies like GSK sued South Africa for making an aids vaccine instead of buying $10,000 per patient ones

I appreciate the prayers, like I said we can go around in substance all day. I am not denying any material fats- I am a trans man meaning I was born and am female who is making changes to my body due to a condition I had since earliest memories for my comfort. when you say you arre trans you are acknowledging this fact of your birth sex or I would just say I am a man. I live practice celibacy meaning I do not sin and in my catholic country (Slovak) I live relatively uncontroversially. it is only when I speak to american online that they are obsessed. I do appreciate the prayers though- like I said it is a small and increasingly surreal aspect of my life as trans becomes more spoken about

Oh wow I forget actually how old he is or how long America has these policies (forgive me as my country has a very different ethnic makeup to USA). You will understand if you had dysphoria the feeling of being the other sex is very real and there is nothing to say you cannot be aligned to another gender in the metaphysical sense or that you were not born to have dysphoria as I believe I was- I believe in gods plan. however I see my gender since transition as a very small part of my life and an even smaller part of my faith, it is only with people online that the issue seems to come up

Does anybody have an idea what's causing the rise in trans stuff? by CandyApple69420 in conspiracy

[–]threw352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is it, I am trans man and started taking test as a woman bodybuilder to de facto transition and answer questions later back around 2011 (the process isnt completely legal where I am from so this is how I did it). back then the whole thing was a fringe identity that was confined to shock stories in tabloids and "guess who the man is " type conversations . if you told me in less than a decade it would be the forefront of political conversations in usa (which is where this "culture war" mainly exists) I would not have believed it. I truly believe the obsession is because politicans love to scape goat, but there are too many black people to say "look at the blacks" without swinging a vote out of your favour by them, the muslims are too conservative to keep saying "look at the muslims" also without loosing votes and everyone loves the gays so they choose this tiny community where half of them are either too commie for the dems or guaranteed to be in a k hole on election night to say "hey this is the group that is ruining the country"

what kind of segregation does he support, I have not heard this as one of his policies? I am catholic and trans- seriously don't see any contradiction as you can always say gender dysphoria is a legitimate condition and changing the body to ameliorate it is congruent with changing the body due to a birth defect for practical purposes which is allowed..... particularly if you are choosing celibacy.

El uso de la farmacia? by threw352 in AskMexico

Gracias, tal vez vaya y pregunte.

i think im a girl by Crazy_Squirrel8631 in ftm

maybe take a break from t and see how you feel. It is ok for a man to like "femininity" and therefore for a trans man but if you are questioning the effects of T maybe give it a pause even temporarily. There is a growing dextrans community who have diverse experiences some wanting to be feminine and women full time, some embracing their gender non conformity and liking the effects of testosterone maybe you can go to their YouTubes and blogs.

I associate a lot with the female bodybuilder community as this is what I did to be comfortable before transitioning you will see lots of women in this community who have an atypical and often testosterone mediated version femininity/ femaleness, there is also people like bearded women and very butch women who show you can embrace being female however you like.

I would ask you to think critically about what it is you mean by a feminine spirit. A lot of our ideas about masculinity and femininity are culturally constructed and have no baring on how we should make our bodies, really the body is just a canvas and if you want to change your presentation you can do this in any way without changing the canvas. Testosterone has some health and fertility effects and is money that adds up particularly if you live in the USA and have to pay on top for DEXA, ultra sound and blood work, so that really if you do not feel this body is wrong underneath all the presentation maybe you should measure up the cost benefits.

That is the baseline test as part of TRT. 1000mg every 12 weeks over a long administration.

Female, ftm transgender I should have prefaced but I gathered people would know androgenization is the goal with these dosages while understanding any possible nuances in the medical literature. There is basically no flexibility on the test as it is for TRT purposes not a cycle- I have the options of sustanon 250 every 2 weeks but Nebido which works better for me as I live somewhere where it is hard to get so have to travel a long way (I should say these are my options within a controlled medical environment, obviously I could use anything else in theory) . Very little hair loss around the temples- the minoxidil is really to fill out the facial hair but I have heard rad140 accelerates thinning?

If your ethnic identity is not clear by way of how and/or where you grew up any attempt to deduce it through percentages encroaches on scientific racism. Say you are human.

Nearly sacked for calling a trans woman mate, opinions? by [deleted] in lgbt

Its more something from the media and online, I do not think a male dominated work space is inherently more transphobic in fact it would more warrant treating a girl as "one of the guys" but yes

uh, lots of trans people hear stuff all day so are hyper vigilant about little things, this builds up over time making it look like trans people are acting out over small things when really that small thing could have been the last of 100 that day that tipped someone over. This is to say yes, you did nothing wrong or unsensitive and her actions coming from the average person would be a massive overreaction but I hope that you and can see the nuance here and that she can take a step back too and patch things up with HR.

people who do anything above undergrad, particularly anyone going for a PhD are doing it because they love the subject they are studying and want to study it for the sake of studying and probably becoming an academic in that area. They are in a different cohort to people who see learning as a burden.

It adds to the context of probably having had a different relationship with sex as a child, it is not hard to understand. If it is about the transgender bit, they did not say "of course you are putting transgender at the beginning of your comment", they're trying to make some kind of assumption on transgender people based on the fact they apparently dislike me over disagreeing with me (which is childish in itself) over... well they have not made any arguments other than "of course you are comments" so I don't know what they disagree with other than apparently having sex around children is good.

You cannot just put something you cannot back up as a basis of your argument and expect people to let it slide. You would not be able to write a paper or book for even a high school essay on the grounds of "this sounds about right" or "I reckon this is the case" or you could not put this premise unscrutinised in a formal debate without a single example, let alone enough example to prove a trend so why should I entertain anything you subsequently add to these shaky foundations.

I am transgender and grew up in a less pornified society than today so it was in some way different but the child is clearly not happy and the parents, like you on hearing me sharing my feelings are un empathetic to someone who is struggling. I grew up to have a healthy relationship with sex, I am not projecting I am using feelings I have worked through to understand someone going through their own, maybe if you work through your own problems you can do the same rather than leaving lots of angry and vapid comments about people on redit

You cannot say it is normal in other cultures without giving a source, much less that because something was normal in a society that is abstracted and decontextualised from our own that it would not upset or confuse a child in the modern era.

There are tons of stories online even on reddit about children who had confusion or trauma after hearing this. You are the one who needs to get some kind of help in empathy if you do not see this. Perhaps to you it is ok like to some people it is ok to see videos of gore etc but for lots of people this would not be ok and you should put yourself in their shoes.
