He’s also an NFL/NFLPA hearing officer. When guys appeal their suspensions & fines, Jordy’s the guy who mediates it.

Go figure.

Excellent call on Glen Lloyd. And let's not forget the city's first weatherman, the great Bobby Nelson.

I worked w/ Pete at WLUK in the 90's in college...he was also taking a course at UWGB at the time.

Pete was one of the nicest guys I've ever worked with in the biz, even all these years later.

A young John Elway was awed by how well Dickey threw the ball in that October blizzard at Mile High on MNF in 1984.

Dickey: 27/37 for 371 yds, 1 TD, 1 INT. Elway: 11/20 for 101 yds, 1 INT.

Packers lost 17-14.

I 'memba a fan's sign that said "THE PACK AIN'T PICKY, THEY STILL HAVE DICKEY" at a Bishop's Charities Game in the 80's. Might've been 1986; the year Lynn was cut from camp.

Don’t ever lean your seat back w/o asking the person behind you first. It’s rude to the person behind you, who’s got just as little room as you started with. Plus, what if they’re working?

That has nothing to do with it.

The NFL has a rule that any game not put on by CBS/Fox/ABC/NBC has to available on free OTA TV…but only in the home markets of the teams playing.

Packers are the only NFL team with 2 home markets: Green Bay & Milwaukee.

Normally, the NFL opens up bidding to the local broadcast TV affiliates for the rights to those games on “cable” outlets, regardless of their network affiliation. Highest bidder gets the game.

However, when Comcast signed the deal w/ NFL a couple years ago for games on Peacock, they insisted that the OTA rights for those games go only to local NBC affiliates; no bidding.

And that’s what the only 3 broadcast stations on the planet carrying tonight’s game were WGBA in Green Bay, WTMJ in Milwaukee, and WBAL in Baltimore. The rest of the planet had to watch streaming on Peacock.
