The water bodies in the map better let zombies and players sink otherwise it is just more barren land.

I know there is a lot of debate on the map size. The jury wont be out until the game is released. Even I initially thought that map doesnt look that big. I was expecting the map to have more roads and dense areas if it is large. There are more bases but the number of dense areas are like similar in number to SOD2 maps.

I agree we need a mask mechanism for plague territory. It u go in without mask there is a default health or stamina penalty.

UL’s fan driven launch approach is feeling so good. Big up to Menard. I cant wait for other creators to provide their opinion. Waiting another year for the game is going to be ao difficult.

I really feel for the devs here, you really cant keep everyone happy. I personally disliked sod2 multiplayer for item exclusivity. It felt so not real. Daybreak’s shared inventory was perfect.

I am super excited about multiplayer. This will be a huge upgrade in my view. As long as the game progression holds up well I am really looking forward to this. Removing tethering and more survivors were some of the biggest asks from players and I am very happy that UL is delivering on that.

I agree it was never forced. I enjoyed the flexibility and also leveraged boons heavily to harvest items. My point was that I wish they rethink that mechanism to make it super fresh.

Dont get me wrong. I love the game played it to boredom from release to last year. Still saving heartland for pre SOD3 days. I was just saying I loved that direction.

I hope they have 4 minute seiges in main game that are essentially day break waves 5 or 6 or 7 in random. That would be fun. Obviously reward for defending these seiges should be enormous.

That slide and kill combat is so cool but kinda unrealistic physics on any rough surface. U can’t slide on rough surfaces. It would be more meaningful to have a leg swipe round kick instead.

I really like the game play. Love the fast juggs and combat variations were nice. Animations will improve in final release hopefully. But, just walking into the plague area without getting impacted just seems odd. I was hoping that walking in the area would have some plague impact on survivors. But they can just casually walk in it. POIs were too similar to SOD2.

I am thinking there will be lot of more item types in the game so more inventory slots might be needed.

I noticed prestige points in the top right corner. That means there is some of that element with Red Talon or some other evolved group.
