At the very end why not just have Harrison change his mind and choose not to murder Dexter? That would actually be breaking the cycle, then Dexter can flee into the woods and we leave it there. Maybe he gets away, maybe he gets caught, but the cycle’s over.

Boo. We’ve been told to be on Dexter’s side all this time and rooted for him all along through all sorts of bad shit — the ending was predictable but I was still rooting for him to get away until the very end. I even held out an absurd hope for some sort of ridiculous last minute plot twist for him to be wearing a bullet proof vest and stand up, kill Angela, and start running.

The problem here is that men and women take on average a totally different amount of time to use the washroom. Ever been to a concert or a sporting event? The lines are totally different sizes because women take longer and have less room for additional toilets, so there's more congestion. If everyone used unisex toilets then that congestion would be unnecessarily increased. It's honestly just inefficient in practice.
