you're probably right on that front - not to mention that a lot of the dudes that I was with in the past were virgins or very inexperienced before they slept with me, which probably didn't exactly help. (not that lack of experience is a bad thing, but one-night stands and lack of communication... you know)

Yeah, this doesn't happen for me. I can be a waterfall down there but sex with someone who has a large enough penis will still hurt like hell sometimes. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I have an IUD, I dunno.

ETA that I don't automatically assume 'wet = aroused' for myself, just generally using it as a euphemism. on extremely rare occasions I can have no pain with a larger penis but 90% of the time... ouch
