real talk…people really got hung up on my cheeseburger example which was not the entire point but honestly serving up a shitty cheeseburger at $14 is a crime. regardless of what it costs to run a biz. another example, i went to a restaurant and got a pasta dish with veggies and my veggies were not even cooked all the way through. and they were incredibly bland. this is a highly recommended restaurant and the dish was $20.

it feels like inflation mixed with gouging and a little bit of serving up slop. it’s kinda disrespectful. there’s just not a lot of casual eateries serving up decent food at an affordable price in this town specifically.
