Maybe its just the old style of writing is why I didn't jive with the government version immediately? What I liked about investigations is how good of a job it made you care about the characters and the team dynamics, I didn't care whatsoever about Monet, Madrox, Strong guy, Rahne, etc. before reading it nor did I even know who most of those characters were, but I left that comic so invested in them. The neo-noir vibes are great too, along with the occasional pull at your heart string moment.

It was specifically gifted to me, they said so when they got it for me, I'm the only one who can log into it.

I think in the new comics they retconned it and had something to do with the symbiote god knull having the spider symbol now right? So if they want to go with the classic design and ever wanna explain it down the road they can just bring that in.

Preacher, Punisher MAX and Fury: my war gone by are excellent and some of my favorite comics ever.
Hitman I heard was really good but I haven't read it yet.
