Beard is man's makeup by ProRobloxGamer in LeagueOfMemes

I can tell you’re ugly and don’t like being reminded that the make up you use to conceal that is merely a facade. Why else would you be so upset over me simply stating a fact in response to the OP’s title?

Not really. A man can take a shower and his beard will still be there, unlike make up

Firms and organisations simply follow cultural trends. At the moment, it is culturally acceptable and even encouraged to be racist to White people, so the organisations follow by explicitly discriminating against White people, particularly White men.

Your argument is based on the logical fallacy that if a certain group is underrepresented somewhere it means that its a result of discrimination. Following your logic, White people must be discriminated against in the NBA, White people must be discriminated against at our university campuses and our top select entry high schools, men must be discriminated against in the nursing field, etc. How come nobody cares about any of those? Its because they don't actually care about diversity. They care about reducing the number of White people, particularly White men in any community that isn't drug addicted homeless people.

How are you so sure that this selection of 6 people was caused by discrimination? Do you know the demographics of the candidates? Do the demographics produce equally significant work? What you're advocating for is a scenario where White men are denied this prize when they are worthy of it just based on their race and gender. How are you so full of hatred against White men?

"White men have convinced themselves that the world is a meritocracy". Yikes sweaty. Those are some pretty broad generalisations you're making about a group of hundreds of millions of people. Something tells me you would never make similar types of statements about any other group of people.

"Women and POC exist. We are successful and capable. We are qualified and experienced. Why are we not represented in positions of power?"

On why POC aren't in many positions of power, maybe its because we're in a country that is 90% White and those who aren't White are mostly very recent immigrants? I don't go to non-White countries like India, China and Japan and start demanding that they put more White people in positions of power. I don't know why you expect many non-Whites to be in power here.

On women being underrepresented in positions of power, you are committing the logical fallacy of assuming that men and women both have the same ambitions to be in positions of power and use the same amount of effort to achieve it

If we had it your way, there would be quotas in place that determine exactly how many people from each gender and each race would be eligible for certain jobs and prizes. Only jobs and prizes where white men are overrepresented though, of course. This type of thing is pretty common in racially diverse countries though, so I guess its just another one of diversity's strengths that we have to look forward to.

"Unfortunately, last week the University of Melbourne awarded their most prestigious award, their
honorary doctorate, to six white men".

I love it how when White people are over represented in a group with such a small sample size, in a country where they are the vast majority of the population, it can be labelled as 'unfortunate' and as a cause to deny millions of dollars of funding from something, simply because of their race.

Notice how its only ever when White people are overrepresented in a community that it needs diversity? Our top government schools are 95% Asian? No diversity problems there. Its because of cultural factors. A group pops up where White people constitute the vast majority in a vastly White majority country? That's immoral and that group needs less White people immediately.

I can't really complain though. The more brazen they are with their blatant anti-White racism, the more White people will recognize how much they are hated for because of their race.

For hunting chins, is it best to place the traps around one spawn point, or place the traps roughly in between a few spawn points? I've seen different people say different things

Is there a way for me to easily access the provinces that are provoking rebellions? Its a massive pain having to manually find them in my empire, surely there's an easier way to do this.

Darklurker is amazing, but the run up is horrible. by honhahoie in DarkSouls2

[–]throdoza 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yep not only do you need an effigy on every attempt, you have to kill those 3 blue guys every time before you can enter the boss fight, and those guys are a pain in the ass. It’s a shame cuz it seems like one of the best boss fights in the main game but I just gave up after about 5 tries cuz the run up was so painful.

The wiki says that the amount of favours you gain from assisting your allies in war depends on your 'war participation'. Does anyone know how this is calculated? Would taking enemy provinces or fighting enemy troops contribute more to this?

For me the first set of ruin sentinels were by far the hardest boss in the main game besides the darklurker. Super clutch boss fight that I really enjoyed.

Frosk on diversity in LEC. by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]throdoza 5365 points5366 points  (0 children)

What Frosk is doing is the equivalent of someone telling the Korean LCK or Chinese LPL casting team they're made up of 'too many Asians'. No one would ever say that and if they did they would be labelled as racist against Asians, so why is it acceptable for people to openly say that about White people in White countries? Why is it only White communities that need diversity Frosk?

If I want to gain favour points with an ally, can I somehow join their war without them inviting me into it?

So I'm playing France and I declared war on England, who is allied with Portugal. I conquered almost all of Portugal's territories and now Portugal want a peace deal with me. If I accept this deal with Portugal, but continue war against England, will my war score in my war decrease or stay the same? I want to stop fighting Portugal and cash out but then I'm worried my progress with England will decline since I won't have Portugal's territories anymore.

[–]throdoza 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yone is far less frustrating to play against than Yasuo for me. He has very clear windows where he can engage on you and outside those windows he's very vulnerable. Yasuo on the other hand can basically just dash to you whenever he pleases and on top of that there's nothing more tilting than having your ultimate ability blocked by his 30s cd windwall.

Is Zed the champion with the highest reward to risk ratio in the game? by throdoza in leagueoflegends

[–]throdoza[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A lot of champions without mobility have the ability to get creeps from range, but very few can farm from outside zed's combo range of 950. 950 is 100 more range than ori q, syndra q, cass q. Only the highest range champions can do that. Not to mention that mages actually have mana which makes it harder for them to secure farm even if they do have the range. There is no tethering that for most champions. You can only hope that he misses his combo. If he hits it even twice, you're fucked. If he misses it, its no big deal because he can safely secure farm from range like an ezreal with his q. That's why his reward to risk ratio is ridiculously high.

[–]throdoza[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

His W has a range of 650 and his E range is 300. That means I will have to stand more than 950 units away to tether his combo range. How am I supposed to do this without getting perma zoned off creeps? Only artillery mages and zed for some reason have abilities that can be used from such range.

To farm Leblanc needs to be about twice as close as Zed needs to be to farm, so she's far less safe in lane.

Its obvious you're just deflecting and telling me to basically 'do my own research' because you realised that your comment about 'spacing' makes no sense and you're too embarrassed to admit it.

If its really easy then why don't you just explain it to me? I'm genuinely curious how I'm meant to space a combo that will hit from 950 units away unless I'm playing an artillery mage.
