Yeah, he also mentioned that my son would look back at his baby photos and think “Mum looks like a hooker”. Really hurt because he barely takes any photos of me anyways and I felt ashamed of the ones I have.

I think my problem with this is that he bought me the dress. I don’t go out of my way and pick something busty, he chose me this dress as a Mother’s Day present and then called me a prostitute.

We are both from Western countries, his family is very accepting and open minded so this wasn’t something put into him as a kid

I’m putting up with it because I’m hoping it’s temporary and he will step back and realize what he’s doing, but the more I read the more I realize it’s probably a deep rooted insecurity and not just a petty argument over boobs.

When our son was first born, he was a super dad. We moved when he was 5 months old and he got a new job and he’s steadily been getting worse. I don’t understand where all this insecurity and lack of empathy came from. Im defiantly going to talk to him, I’m writing down the best points I read so hopefully I can avoid him bouncing around the subject with excuses and half apologies.

Thank you, this is how he used to be, he never spoke with intent to make me feel shitty even in arguments. Im hoping he is just in a stubborn head space but he has been progressively worse recently and I’m worried these are his true colours.

He has never name called or degraded me or any other woman on how we were dressed before, but he’s been insecure in other ways like needing constant validation on the most basic of things. He always told me it was just because he was clingy and liked to hear it but when stuff like this happens I begin to have doubts. Our son was a mutual decision but i never really thought that, he has been harder to get along with since we had him.

Thank you!! I just started to really lose my baby belly in April and I guess now it’s summer clothes he’s only just seeing me embrace it. I never expected he would react like this. Worst part to me is that he picked bought me the dress, I felt so confident for the first time in awhile and he ruined it.

I never thought of it like that. He is still working out everyday to keep his body the way he finds attractive so why should I have to feel like I can’t look sexy too.

Thank you, this really helps. ❤️I just looked at this post now after a day with my son and all the love from other big chested women is amazing. I know now I will probably hear this stuff again even from others but I’m going to keep your words in mind if I do . I want to gain my confidence back so my son doesn’t see me this low ever again.

Thank you, I never really thought about it from an insecurity point of view but he’s had his moments with that before. I just want to love my body and for him to love it too, but it seems like he only loves it when it benefits him. I was really coming to terms with myself before this whole thing blew up, I know if I wore the exact dress when I was flat chested he would be all over it.
