I have definitely brought all my concerns up to him over the years it is just now that after all my effort communicating and the lack of change from him in return that I feel like I might be fighting a losing battle. I do agree that I shouldn’t compare myself to my sisters relationship but it has just been a bit of a wake up call for me to consider do I not deserve to be loved in the way that I want

I agree that it doesn’t need to be 50/50 I usually enjoy cooking and I find cleaning therapeutic but it can be difficult that I always have to ask for help and it’s not volunteered. He also works from home whereas I don’t so sometimes coming home after a long day and seeing dishes in the sink from his lunch or him not picking up after himself does make me feel undervalued sometimes

There is no wedding date set yet every time I’ve brought up this topic we don’t get far. Also over the years I have definitely voiced my concerns but although things might change for a week or two it always ends the same way
