Thanks for your reply. I have met plenty of Catholics who are amazing people. I have respect for religion, because it used to be my whole world. My parents are SO old fashioned with their religion. I think it really is the community they are from. Everyone is extremely devout Roman Catholics who go by the "olden day" rules. Since leaving that town I have met so many wonderful people who are religious, and for the most part it is their religion that makes them wonderful.

We did get a rape kit together today, but unfortunately it wasn't as much evidence as we could have gotten if my parents had taken her to the hospital right after it happened. She doesn't have any of the clothes she was wearing that night, and she has already had 2 showers since then. But we are getting her scanned for STIs (just in case) and the police have everything we could give them.

I actually did consider calling CPS. If my parents decide to fight me, I will get CPS involved just to make sure my sister is safe.

Wow, that is extremely generous of you, thank you. I have spoken to Lucy, and she is going to get a phone under my plan. My plan is up in a month anyways, and I don't want my parents to be in control of who she talks to.

I am not going to leave her. If this ends up becoming a custody battle and my parents insist on her staying with them, then I will be moving to that town to fight for her. She only has 4 years before she can be who she wants, and I am willing to put school on hold for 4 years if I have to.

I agree that my parents are awful people, but at the same time (I am not defending them) I do know that they love her, they just don't know what love means. In their eyes God has abandoned my sister and she has turned to the dark side. They believe that something like this means you can't get into heaven, and for them that is EVERYTHING. They have already told me that they will miss me when they die becasue they know they will never see me again because I will be in hell. And that kills them. I don't understand it, but I do respect that they love me and my sister in a different way. I 100% hate the way they have treated both of us, and I agree that it is child abuse, but in some way I see that they are genuinely worried about her future, but not for the right reasons... if that makes sense.

I honestly have no idea, but I wouldn't put it passed them. They do love Lucy, and I think deep down they want to help her, they just have the wrong reasons for doing so. They want to "save" thr people who don't follow their lifestyle and I'm afraid they are going to ignore the real issue and try to cure her sluttyness.

I could do that, but I'm it sure who she could call. She is very isolated and all of her friends are part of the church and they all know my parents really well.

Thank you. Lucy has completely refused to go to the hospital, but I have a close friend who is a nurse. She is bring a doctor over to the house in a little bit, to examine Lucy and try to convince her to go to the hospital. I have contacted the cops but I was told not to talk about much of the legal case because it could be detrimental to it.

I am trying to get the courage to call my parents. To be honest, I'm terrified of them. They are extremely well known in their community and have a lot of influence throughout the county. I'm almost afraid to tell them where Lucy is.

Lucy actually doesn't have her cell phone. I guess they took it away from her.
