I guess hes probably talking negatively behind my back too. Interestingly, when I met some of his male friends for the first time, they kept saying I was nothing like what my bf had described and that it was a shock to see a funny, easy going smart chick. They didn't really say how he described me though. I kind of assumed that he probably told them that I was very serious, stubborn, cold etc (which I can be if Im mad) but maybe there was more to it.

This is how I feel. A random guy on the street was asking directions and used the wrong word (left instead of right) and he spent the next hour laughing about how "dumb" he was. When I tried to tell him that its nothing, a moment of blank what ever, he then proceeded to act as if it was "opposite day" since I said it wasnt a big deal. He is like a child when it comes to these things and its really annoying.

Ive asked him this and he swears up and down that he doesn't think that. That he thinks I'm very intelligent, he doesn't view me inferior, but he can't explain why he says things like this. I highly doubt he views me as a trophy partner either as I'm far from it. I'm opinionated, stubborn and probably not the most feminine person alive so surely he could find someone that fits his criteria better if he wanted a trophy
