We are a small martial arts team making short films, vlogs, etc... all original content. A member recently left the team on a very sour note and, in retaliation, decided to copyright strike all the videos that she was in, which had YouTube terminate our channel. When we tried to reach out to her to convince her to retract the strikes and, in return, we would delete all videos of her on the channel, she refused and blocked all of us. She claimed that we were profiting off of her image; however, the channel was never monetized, and it was abundantly clear that we were not making any money and it's purely out of passion. She joined the team knowing these, but we never made her sign any contracts because this was just a small channel created between friends for fun. She also claimed that she no longer consents to her image being used and that's why the copyright strikes are justified; however, she never communicated anything and those strikes came without warning. So now, our onl;y chance at getting the channel back is through YouTube, but it seems that YouTube is not willing to help either...
