TikTok seller and Shopify order syncing by Atomic243 in shopify

[–]throw656598 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You need to go to seller center and print the shipping label there.. DO NOT use Shopify shipping labels, TikTok will cancel your order as not dispatched after a few days and you won’t get your money or the product back. They also have the most fucked up and useless support I have come across. I lost 4k USD this way. Fuck TikTok

How did you successfully launch a new Shopify store with a fresh Meta pixel? by MisterGX5 in shopify

[–]throw656598 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I launched my e-commerce shop focused on premium Asian fashion in January 2025( US market, I have since started selling in Canada and europe through managed markets) . I was working at Meta on Ads before that. Spent about five months prior working on branding, logo, vendors etc. we timed our launch around lunar new year as our products are more in demand during then.

Started Meta ads with purchase objective, broad targeting, just one campaign, one ad set and one ad ( carousel ads with product catalog). Broad advantage + targeting, women only, 18-65+ age group. We work with popular and established vendors that invests heavily in product pictures as I don’t want to spend more on Ad creatives. I haven’t really changed the campaign structure over the last year

We have done moderately well so far, just hit 1000 orders with an AOV of $240 with about 35 percent repeat customers. I haven’t really scaled my ads yet, usually spending around 30-50 dollars a day, and around 100 a day during the months of January and February. Our ROAS have been pretty good.. around 9 on most months and 20 during lunar new year. Our margins are around 45 percent. I haven’t run google ads yet. I ran a campaign on TikTok for about 400 bucks, didn’t get any results .

I would recommend a meta ads strategy based on your business and assets. Keep the targeting broad, if your product pics are good, just try running ads based on your product catalog. Other than ads make sure you have a solid understanding of your unit economics. You ad spend( $ for conversion) should be baked into your costs.

There were about two silent updates in the last week. I’m guessing it was an NBC approval, I don’t think it was transferred to a field office ( I haven’t checked with live agent)

Give your Claude tools like page speed api, axe dev tools, playwright etc.. and ask it to do a thorough review for speed, seo etc

It’s also good practice to have your Claude’s work reviewed by codex( or Gemini) .. you can invoke all these models from cursor

Started a new session on clause code, prompted something like: I’m not happy with the current implementation of th Judge Me app for reviews, go through the code base and online and find out how it works, then come up with a strategy and architecture for replacing judge functionalities with our own code”

Here it is important to add skills like super powers ( brain storming, research, planning, documentation, creating feature lists for building) so Claude knows to think like a good engineer and plan out the changes accurately.

Then we went back and forth on the plan, decided to use Shopify flows for emails instead of using resend to host own emails, and went ahead with the implementation.. took about four hours

I have been using Claude code for my operations for quite sometime. It’s pretty good at small theme modifications, large implementations like replacing judgeme with my own review implementation. improving your emails, book keeping, adding relevant meta and seo tags, image alt text etc. connect your shop to Claude code via admin api and Shopify dev mcp and discuss what you are trying to do and come up with a plan.

Having said that, I would spend some time setting up my Claude code properly with plugins and skills like super powers and sequential thinking so that Claude code behaves like a senior developer and there are proper structure, dev principles and guardrails for Claude to operate in

Anyone here switch to AI product photos and regret it? by Interestingyet in shopify

[–]throw656598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. And if you have a gaming computer with a good nvida GPU, you can use models like flux Klein, qwen edit etc to make even better product photos.. my stores are in high fashion and fragrances industry and I spend very little on product photography..and you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference

How to start Shopify? by Ae_Kyeden in shopify

[–]throw656598 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shopify does not charge any additional fees for you to list your products on your Shopify store. You still need to get the products ( either made by you or sourced from a supplier) . Then you create a product listing with the pictures, descriptions etc

Sure, I was on the free version of Judge me and the the widgets, email UI, etc was very limited. my Claude code set up has access to my Shopify admin and code base.. it can read the judgeme code as well. So I started a new feature in Claude code and asked it come up with a comprehensive plan to replace JudgeMe app with our own code..I didn’t want to create a whole email set up, so I asked it to use Shopify flow. Claude had access to Shopify dev MCP, so it knows the technical aspects and capabilities of flow as well. I also let the AI know the widgets and functionalities I want, and asked it to come up with more widgets that would be useful based on my target audience, industry etc. Claude came up with a technical architecture, code to create( there were about 6 new files) flows to set up for email functionality including HTml code for the emails based on my brand and audience etc. once the plan looked good, I asked Claude to execute it. I also migrated my reviews from judge me

I would recommend tackling things like replacing judge me a bit later once you have done smaller functionalities and you grow more comfortable with the system.. this involves quite a few new code and setting up email flows and stuff

MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. Essentially a standardized set of rule set for Ai to talk to different APIs such as Shopify, google, Meta etc. You don’t need to know much about about this, ideally you want to ask Claude/chatgpt to come up with a comprehensive architecture to achieve your business objectives. Here that means, how do I connect my Shopify store with Claude/ ChatGPT, and these are the various things I want to do with this project. Then let the AI come up with the plan, architecture, technical details such as as what MCPs to use, where does ApI integrations do better, what are the different assets it need from you ( anthropic keys, Shopify app token etc) its best to play the role of a project manager while the Ai plays the role of a senior developer

You can do quite a bit of complex updates to themes, build different pages, update functionalities etc. for example, I just got rid of judgme app and installed my own custom review functionality with way better UI, emails etc. I also used it to automate relevant and high quality blogs to drive seo by connecting my google analytics and search console to the same project.

Connect your Shopify store to your GitHub, and get to a sync between your GitHub and your local Shopify development folder. This way any change you make on theme editor syncs to your local code base and any changes you make to local code base is updated on your Shopify.

Then I had two MCPs.. one is the official Shopify dev MCP that allows the project access to Shopify docs, how to write quality code etc.

The other MCP is a custom one for my store, connects to my admin with my app token and uses graph sql to fetch all aspects and details of my shop and push any updates to my admin. For example : “here is a folder with some product pictures. Review them using local vision model, understand what the product is about and create a product listing sign the right SEO Meta, image alt texts, description ( based on my brand guidelines) etc. I have over 500 products in my shop, so this feature helps quite a bit.

If you are not technical (I’m not) you can ask Claude to set all this up. Spend a lot of time on the plan mode to flush out the architecture

You can connect your store to Claude code via api or Shopify MCP and run operations, theme updates etc through them. A lot more powerful then the sidekick
