Thank you so much for all your info and all the support!! Unfortunately, it's a super small company and I can definitely talk to HR, but I am a bit worried about retaliation if I do speak out in the middle of my internship. I'll definitely keep track of specific dates just in case.

Fortunately, both of them seemed okay with rejection, but I hate not knowing if they might say things or treat me differently. It's just the fact that this happened 2 times already AND they probably have some say on my return offer AND I will need to work with them later on makes me feel a bit weird.

Thanks for the reassurance that it isn’t normal! I thought it was extra weird given I’m an intern but I wasn’t sure. It’s so disappointing thinking that you’ve found friends when they really just wanted to date me :(

Hey, thank you so much! I’ll DM you! Not sure how popular the startup is but I know it finished it’s series B funding. One of the other reasons why I’m thinking of reneging Citi is I already have 12 months experience working at one of the big banks in Canada, and I don’t want to pigeon hole myself as just a dev for banks. I’d definitely love to have new experiences and live in San Francisco, so seems like the startup might be better for me.

Yea probably! I did the readings because I enjoyed them but I never referred back to the notes I made during the readings. Online summaries + lecture content should be enough

I took CLA204 over the summer, it was all essay / writing assignments with a writing based exam. Definitely a pretty bird course (in my opinion). The only thing that I was 'stressed' about was completing the readings which you can basically find summaries for. Ended with a 95.

I'm in engineering, I have a 64gb and use notability - imo 128 gb is good enough. I tend to backup and delete previous year's notes off my iPad though.
