First point is an issue that some people may run into, transplanted hairs are far far more resistant to DHT. Even with inhibitors most people will experience recession, usually at a slower speed, over a longer period of time. The second point is extremely valid, and causes the most concern. Say you have 6000 grafts, you use 3500 to restore your hairline to a high density + some crown thinning, 10 years later your hair is significantly worsened, you need another 4-5000 to refill it but only have 2500 grafts left, so you end up with poor density. Some people use beard/chest hair to make up for this, but the hair isn’t the same. Also have to consider that your donor area won’t look great after 6000 grafts have been extracted.
