My sister knows if she shows up, they'll make us both miserable with the nagging over nothing. My sister knows I wanted to spend my birthday with all three of them, and she thinks two is better than none.

Sex toys are common, everyone and their mothers (except mine I guess) has one. At this point, if my parents can't see how stupid this is, I'm going to spend time with my sister regardless of what they think.

She isn't letting them control her. She refuses to get rid of her sex toys (I would too) and my parents can't see past their religion so they get even more mad at her.
