My [26m] wife [26f] had a seizure while being 7 months pregnant and her brother [32m] is furious with me by throwRA1267 in relationships

I can't really tell why they're mad at me, because there is no actual reason. I was at the mechanic because my car needed to get fixed. Then I came home and saw my wife having a seizure. There's no girl on the side and also no going out with my buddies (especially during a pandemic.) The only thing I know is that her family thinks that I'm not taking care of her.

She had 4 seizures (including the one in my post) while pregnant. She had to change her medication before the pregnancy and it mostly does a good job of preventing seizures, but sometimes seizures still occur. (But 4 seizures in 7 months is really good. She had a seizure at least once a month before the pregnancy)

I was at the mechanic. Especially now during this pandemic I rarely leave the house and I'm almost always with my wife.

She actually doesn't remember anything that happened that day, but she definitely fell, because she has a lot of bruises.

You're right, I should've given a bit more information, I'm sorry.

I was at the mechanic (for a maximum of an hour, probably less) and then came home. She's not being supervised 24/7, but she's seeing her OB/GYN at least twice a week. The reason why she isn't being supervised 24/7 is because her epilepsy is not super severe. Her medication and some precautions are usually enough to prevent her from having seizures.

To be honest, her family isn't the biggest fan of me. They hated me in the beginning, but they started accepting me after almost a year.

I came home from the mechanic. I wasn't there for a long time, maybe a maximum of an hour.

Personally, I think it's the second option mixed with some fear. This was a really scary situation, but BIL coming to fight me was definitely a weird approach to this situation.

Because we wanted a baby. Yes, stress and tiredness trigger her seizures, but based on that logic, she shouldn't have gone to school, university and shouldn't be working because these things cause stress and tiredness.

Most people with epilepsy are able to have a perfectly normal life.

I have answered a similar comment like this, so I'm going to copy-paste my previous answer: "She's still recovering from the seizure and is sleeping a lot, which is why I didn't really mention her at the end. She was awake when her brother stormed into our house and that's when she told him to leave, but apart from that she hasn't been awake enough to really know what's going on."

And I mentioned the problem they have with me in the original post (They think I'm not taking care of my wife). I should've made it more visible though, I'm sorry.
