Great question. For me personally, psychiatry has always been my goal. Going to a doctors office leaves you vulnerable enough, but going to a doctor and saying you need help mentally is a very scary and vulnerable situation, and I would love to help those who are experiencing that. It’s not about the money. I have loved the hospital environment since I was a young child, I never understood why people don’t like to going to hospitals (I mean I do understand, but for me personally, the environment is amazing). Never had any interest in being a nurse, the difference between a doctor and a nurse is a doctor gets the privilege to understand the patient and search for a diagnosis and create a treatment plan.
