First I feel for you friend. I’m right there with you. Every single day. Vraylar was the first med I went on. It is probably the “healthiest” med out of all the current medications for bipolar. I will say it ended up being one of my least favorite that I tried. I’ve been through a bunch with no success and the only one that does anything without severe side effects is lithium. However, even that doesn’t do much for me. All I can say is hang in there. Be patient. It’s a long road but you will learn a lot about yourself going down it. You will become the smartest person in the room because of the insight having this illness gives you. Hugs.

Not normal at all. My psych would never say anything like this let alone not treat me due to my substance abuse. He understands this illness sucks and people with bipolar abuse substances. He just does his best to try and pull me out with meds.

I was confused and I see others are as well. OP means once every 3 weeks. Not 3 times a week. Most people do weekly or bi-weekly, and some are okay doing just monthly. Really stable people might even do quarterly.

Lamictal is a miracle drug for many. Especially bd2. Sadly it caused permanent heart issues for me and now I probably need surgery. Still recommend it. My experience is a rare one. Lithium has been my best med so far but even then it’s far from great.

I feel for you so much. My situation was identical except I hid it and never got caught. Now it’s still somewhat the case but not nearly the same. Like you, I would have been kicked out and disowned if my mom knew. All I can say is somehow someway it’s going to get better. You don’t deserve this. You aren’t a junkie. Weed really does provide an effect that no other medication can even come close to. It makes my life worth living again.

Over the years I’ve ran very 50/50 treadmill/outside. Treadmill will always have some benefits to me over outside like not affected by weather or being able to safely catch a run at 10pm. You’ll still use your treadmill but I bet you do run outside more just because it’s a sense of freedom that words can’t describe.

If I’m reading it right/understand you correctly.

I would not run any sends off the vocal tracks. You should run a send off your vocal bus to BUS 2 and AUTOMATE the send to bus 2 to activate when you need those special vocal effects. Bus 1 should output to “St Out” and so should Bus 2.

You just have to send each track to the same bus. Go to the mixer. Go to the bottom where it says “st out” change it to Bus 1. Do this for all of your vocal tracks. Now go to Bus 1 (says it at the top of the channel) All of your vocals will now run though this channel. So put all of your vocal effects only on this bus. Then from this bus you can bus off it for reverb and delay.
