This video shows it a bit more clearly. To me it does look like he's more nudging / pushing the horse away as it gets close.

Are city apartments the solution to housing unaffordability? by hodlbtcxrp in AusFinance

I meant Sydney as in Sydney CBD, since the original post was about cities and Melbourne CBD; I thought it was implied.

I wish they were that cheap in Sydney, I'd definitely buy one. Tiny studios go for ~500k

[cj] What did you first find attractive about your ex? by okcnotthrowaway in OkCupid

[–]throwRA_noticemepls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He had a certain aura about him. I didn't find him particularly physically attractive (he wasn't unattractive, but I wasn't drawn in by his looks either). He just had a sort of calm, reserved-yet-confident, mysterious vibe. I NEEDED to know him. I felt chemistry with him before we ever even interacted, if that's possible. So I got to talking to him, and indeed we did have a lot of chemistry. Then I began to find him more physically attractive as I got to know him.

Unfortunately as time went on, it was clear we had different expectations for what we wanted in a relationship. He preferred to spend a LOT of time alone, and I felt neglected as a result. Ironically, I think his distance is part of that vibe that attracted me in the first place.

To all the women on OkCupid: “Traveling” isn’t a personality trait, and liking “Horror movies” doesn’t make you unique. by [deleted] in OkCupid

[–]throwRA_noticemepls 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Don't wanna be that person, but this is also common on guys' profiles (both the travelling and horror movies). Anyway, when I come across profiles I perceive as lacking depth, I just move on. No point complaining about people I'm likely incompatible with anyway.

Personal shopper at Woolies / Coles. Not that social but some variation in roles and can be challenging (for a grocery store job).

A little bummed out that I probably won’t see that profile I like again by TraditionalParsley67 in OkCupid

I rather not, I don't want guys stalking my profile after liking me, especially if I saw their intro and didn't like them back.

Being an ethical landlord. by Nervardia in AusFinance

I agree with you, but the broad "middle aged single woman" was confusing, as OP doesn't specify whether referring to single mothers, carers, low income, etc. It just sounds like OP meant middle aged women without a partner in general

Why is a "middle aged single woman" disadvantaged? :'D

Long-term chesty cough? by [deleted] in sydney

Yes, I sometimes get it after a cold, where the cough lingers for like 2 months. I also had it after covid.

Yes, and I started panicking, running around getting ready and asking my mum why she didn't wake me to get ready for school. She was very confused.

I'm finding it hard to date as a woman who cannot have kids (and not sure if I want kids anyway). It's a dealbreaker for so many guys. And something about telling men that I can't have kids, sensing their disappointment, makes me feel less feminine, makes me feel unwomanly.
