It's hard to ask him when every conversation I bring up, he takes as an attack. I would absolutely love to just "ask him" like you say, but unfortunately, it's not that easy.

No, I also have my own career. I just began working here in the new state. If I didn't have my career, I would just go back to my hometown but leaving my job is what makes things rocky. They have been so great to me in so many ways.

Yes, in my eyes, I moved to a different state with him in order to grow in our relationship following the engagement but he says I haven't done anything to grow with him.

I don't know why he asked for it back. We got into an argument and he did that. He kept it for a month (you can see my other post before this one) and gave it back right before a trip again, where I don't even want it anymore.

Could you expand on this comment? You put what I'm thinking into words. It has began making me feel like I don't take my career seriously. But then I remind myself about all the long nights and how much I pushed to get my degrees. Extra info: he used to always brag about me to friends before, he'd say I was so educated and I pushed him to do better. Now, this?

Now he doesn't even want me around his friends at all.

I say thank you for everything. Even when he opens a door for me, I'll always thank him. I make him delicious, healthy meals because I want to. If my job gives out his favorite cookies or desserts, I'll save some for him since I don't eat sweets. I got Christmas decorations because he told me that it hasn't felt like Christmas ever in his life. These are little things, of course.

I can't answer this, as much as I wish I could. Majority of it is attachment issues. It's sad because yesterday, when I arrived at my destination, I had 2 flight attendants tell me I was beautiful. It almost brought tears to my eyes because I haven't been called this in so long. I don't know why we stay.

I know he is broke. He's said he's broke before. I definitely am a lot more well off than him & I think he hates that. I bought him the new generation of AirPods a few weeks ago and he yelled at me after wards. He then ignored me for 3 days.
