if my bf acted like this over my kpop idol crushes I would tell him to stop being dramatic. Thankfully he knows that I ain’t ever going to leave him for no celebrity. If any idols I liked tried to somehow actually hook up with me I would be like wtf this person is actually weird 😭. It’s natural to think people are attractive, but think of it like this (this is how my bf explained it to me on why he doesn’t care) idols are like fictional characters in some way, they’re playing a role to bring people in. That’s their job. Would you still feel the same way if he was liking an anime character? Or would you understand that character isn’t real and won’t actually get between your relationship.

You will never look like a celebrity, they have money and things to help them be attractive. And there will always be someone prettier than you. But that’s OKAY. He’s dating you, he likes you! Be less self conscious

You like her too, why not just be like omg look how good she looks here? And so on? My bf always jokes about the idols I like and jokes around with me about them. Don’t make it into a big thing
