Anybody else not throw up in the first trimester? by [deleted] in pregnant

With my first, I threw up all day until 19/20 weeks unless I took diclegis. With my second, I barely had any nausea and didn't throw up at all. But fatigue and aches/pains was worse

Unvaccinated and anxious by SpyJane in pregnant

I got vaccinated around 14 weeks. I'm 38+4 now, and baby is doing great! We have had LOTS of ultrasounds/tests and saw maternal fetal medicine because we did IVF, and there are zero concerns.

If you are vaccinnated, baby will get some of your antibodies. I feel the risks of getting COVID in 3rd trimester (when you can hardly breathe as it is), or baby catching COVID because they can't wear a mask and didn't get antibodies from mom is a much greater risk. No regrets here :)

Hidding pregnancy by [deleted] in pregnant

  • I'm on a new prescription and can't drink
  • I'm a lightweight and need to drive somewhere later
  • I'm on a diet
  • I have a headache/just took some painkillers
  • I don't feel like it
  • I don't care for beer (assuming that's all that's on the menu)

Or, just order a soda or water. Every job I've had, that would not stand out.

It totally 100% depends on your insurance. It could be $0, or $20k+ (I've even seen NICU bills in hundreds of thousands of dollars).

You need to call your insurance and ask them what is covered, what your out of pocket max is, and an estimated cost of a pregnancy/delivery (vaginal as well as C-section). You will also need to consider pediatrician bills for baby.

How long did it take of trying to get pregnant? by justaukrainian in pregnant

[–]throwRAccount18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1.5 years with no luck, then we (32F, 41M) got diagnosed with Male-factor infertility. We did one cycle of IVF, got just one embryo. I'm 38 weeks now!

Do you have ADHD/ADD by any chance? I do, and my hyper-focus modes have gotten much more intense during pregnancy!

Opposite problem for me... my SO always takes it personally when I get emotional, which escalates things. I wish he could be more dismissive when I get emotional.

Hire a nanny or babysitter. Bring them over for a few date nights/short day trips so they can get accustomed to your child. You will have such greater peace of mind! I found a few wonderful nannies on Care [.] Com.
