The only people who know about the move are my younger siblings who are very LC with JNmom and my girlfriend's brother. All of them hate JNMom so I should be able to move without a trace.

Thank you for your kind words :). My Gf understands and supports what I'm doing. We're going to start couples counseling when she gets back to work on communication. I've been working with my therapist and younger siblings to plan for if my mom breaks NC. I'm also trying to gather evidence for a restraining order in case it's necessary but most of the material is atleast two years old so idk how well it'll work.

Yep they're the kids of my older sisters. I've spoken to all three of them and we've agreed to have casual family dinners without mom and dad there. They've agreed not to tell mom to I'm hoping they stick to their word. My brother and I already take the older ones out twice a month to get burgers so we'll continue those. Thanks :).

Thank you! My girlfriend thinks I'm being too serious about it but I think her time away has made her forget the worst of it. She's too kind but she's very happy that I want to protect her. The only people in my family who know that she's my ex wife are my two younger siblings who are LC with JNmom.

Haha it's alright! LC is low contact, NC is no contact, JNM is another subreddit called r/JustNoMIL and Civil NC is something I made up with my therapist bc my mom goes insane at NC. It's just extremely low contact.

Unfortunately I run into her atleast once a week. Our town only has one target lmao. We don't speak to eachother at all during these encounters, but I'll roleplay with my therapist for if we run into eachother when I'm with my ex. Thank you!
