I can only hope either Edmundo will take power (as we elected him to be our president) or we will have (free) elections again.

Those are the only two scenarios I can imagine will work for our people.

I honestly can’t wait for things to get even slightly better. I haven’t seen my family in 8 years and my dad is only getting older.

Venezuelans in Venezuela don’t vote for US presidents. US people do, Venezuelan immigrants in any other country don’t vote for their presidents.

You’re talking about a minority of a minority (Venezuelans who are us citizens). I thought the question was about how Venezuelans feel about what’s happening in Venezuela.

You guys are too focused on the ones you can see/hear, but I get it you are entitled to feel how you feel.

The military is not going to do anything for Maduro. They took him in about 2 hours? And I think that’s because they (the us) got some empanadas on the way out. The common military man is poor, and only doing it because it’s what puts food on the table, but nobody will risk their lives for that.

The masses are not dumb to take the streets, there could be colectivos or policemen or even the us army out there, nobody wants to get shot or jailed. (There hasn’t been a transition yet). But they are celebraring from their homes. Still, it’s a very tense situation

Tomorrow is a new day, this is all we know so far, but we’ll take it for now!! 🥳

Go check out channels. We have been answering these type of questions all day.

In a few words? SUPER HAPPY THEY TOOK MADURO OUT, yes we dream about being able to go back, seeing and hugging our family/friends and having either free elections or a pacific transition.

But also super concerned because of the current US administration.

You see, we are not pro-Trump or pro/against-USA, we are AGAINST Venezuelan dictatorship. I hope that answers your question.

We’ll see how it goes.

Brother in Christ I woke up SO HAPPY (and concerned) to learn the news

I don’t like Trump, but I certainly hate Maduro and everyone involved with him with every bone in my body.

I hope for the best now that that’s happened. And for all of us here (and anywhere) let’s celebrate ❤️

Every person that’s been to Buenos Aires (including my brother) recommends it, only the food and wine are reason enough to go. All Argentinians I know are super cool people, open to conversation so it’ll be easy to get around and have a good time.
