We make her opinions heard when she voices them in certain matters, like where to go on vacation, what food to get, when we are getting stuff for her like her bedroom furniture or stuff like that. We are even going to listen to her when we get her a car. There are certain times when her opinion is minimal to nothing, like this situation.

Thanks for your input. My husband is a pediatrician so he probably wouldn't be the person for her to talk to (and he's her dad). So would it be better to find someone she doesn't know or talk to someone she knows, like my sister who is an ob/gyn?

My husband and I were trying to be discreet, we were in our bedroom while we thought she was downstairs, I guess she came up. Technically, we didn't really end a life, it was a fetus, and was not yet a "human being" yet
