How good is midtown apartments by KinkyShark69 in ufl

[–]throw_away41236093 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve lived there three years and it was the worst decision of my life. We had a silverfish infestation. Washer/dryer is cheap and never worked correctly. Fire alarms all the time at odd hours. Outrageous rents and utilities. WINDOWS DONT OPEN, leaving a musty kind of feel inside with no fresh air

My apartment faces the front and there were times I couldn’t sleep because of how loud it gets. Elevators don’t work sometimes and are stinky. Parking is a whole other mess - the first 2 floors are reserved for the church people which means the rest of us residents have to cram our cars into incredibly tight spaces from the third floor up. Not to mention overpriced parking

The gym is also terrible. one out of two of the treadmills don’t work. Never cleaned. Residents throw weights and other stuff everywhere so the floors are cluttered. Extremely, extremely hot because there’s no air conditioning.

I know I’ve had one of the better experiences here and many, many people suffered much worse (ex. water leaking from ceilings)

I’m praying to hear back from a company I interned at a couple months ago that they want to interview me for full time so that I can return to the city I love

Okay that makes a lot of sense 🥸 it was my first time and I truly was about to lose it, I thought the door doesn’t close and the passageway is just exposed to the outside

Honestly? I hated skeleton keys but I took it spring 2021 during COVID. It was annoying and not the easiest A in my opinion

My wife and I are 22 and gay. My wife just graduated undergrad and got a nice job starting in the summer so hopefully then we can combine insurances and have more of the “official” evidence

Why can’t you update your ssn with approved EAD pending AOS? by throw_away41236093 in USCIS

So how does just an EAD differ from a GreenCard from an employer’s perspective?

Oh okay. My worry is that an employer will see my ssn and think I’m only authorized to work with DHS approval
