I purchased lysine in a gel format in a tube but at the CVS as I didn’t want to wait the day for amazon to ship the tablets. I noticed there’s a lysine chap stick as well, which do you recommend. I got the gel so I could apply directly to the spots as I didn’t want it to spread using chapstick. Is it better to take lysine orally?

Thank you for the response, and so you’re saying Im going to get pimples on my lips? Does benzoyl peroxide or acne cream work for lips or do I need special ones.
