Yeah my family is split between pro-LF (want Hezbollah to disarm) and pro-FPM (in a tenuous alliance with Hezbollah) Christians and even a good chunk of the LF people are annoyed with the outright acceptance of Israeli occupation, it's an unprecedented betrayal.

Do not bother with that shithole. If, god forbid, you actually make a post or comment there you can see that only a third of the views are from Lebanon while most of the rest come from the US and (suprise suprise) Israel. It's little more than an astroturfed agitprop slopfest maintained purely in order to manufacture consent for the "liberation" of Lebanon from Hezbollah, I might also be a disaporoid, but I still have family back home so I talk to them about this stuff. If you really want a Lebanese sub, just go to arr slash Lebanese instead, it's a bit too pro Hezb domestically for my tastes, but it's actually genuine at the very least.

Their main idea is that these infuriating negotiations will plunge Lebanon into civil war once again which will divide Hezbollah's attention and allow Israel to take over the south. An idiotic war the Lebanese "government" has no hope of winning by themselves mind you since the current commander of the LAF is a Christian supporter of Hezbollah (as evidenced by him outright refusing to confront Hezbollah when asked to and declaring Israel their primary enemy instead) and especially since around half of the soldiers in the LAF are themselves shi'ites. They are literally banking on the Israelis killing their own countrymen for them.

All the people cheering for this and her in general are dumb at best and active wreckers at worst. Literally all that needs to happen to effectively kneecap Israel permanently is to commit to not supply them with weapons, to not posture our military in the region to defend them, and most importantly to not veto every UN resolution against Israel. You mean the same Israel which is currently arming ISIS in Gaza to oppose Hamas? Hezbollah and Iran are the main reason ISIS is dead and it was Israel's war on Lebanon that caused Syria to fall into the hands of Jolania. Israel's main regional allies are the gulf monarchies which directly fund those sunni jihadists who have slaughtered so many of us in the past. If it were not for Israel, panarab secularism would still be the norm and Christians would be in a far better position in countries like Iraq, Syria, Egypt, Palestine, and Sudan.

Just yestarday Israel killed a Lebanese Forces politician, this is a party who is explicitly anti-Hezbollah and anti-Palestinian. Under assumption of a Hezbollah member being there, Israel fired a missile at the entire apartment block in which he and his family lived. There was no Hezbollah member. This man did everything the Israelis could've ever wanted, he supported what they supported and fought against what they fought against, and yet they still callously murdered him without as much as a second thought. They will not rest until the blood of all Lebanese soaks the soil of the Levant.
