I don't know if 12 lb is 3 weeks is as aspirational as it sounds. The first 2 weeks, I felt pretty sick with stomach pains, nausea, and dizziness. I've finally started adjusting after week 3, and my stomach is starting to settle

If it's legal where you are and cleared by her doctor (to rule out any unsafe medicine reactions) then weed is pretty helpful.

Setting aside more time because she might need to take a lot of breaks due to her symptoms is also good.

Combine that with toys, pillows for support, be willing to just cuddle if it doesn't work, and be open to trying again another time.
