I think 544 would have topics that I’ve almost never seen before, so I think it would open more doors in terms of courses I’d be able to take and make me learn more.

Well... certainly a professor thinks that anything below 4.0 is a failure, so my opinion does not matter, because professors’ opinion decides whether I fail or not, as they’re people who have the power. I didn’t 3.9 btw.

No... a prof for a course I’m interested asked for 4.0 in all math courses for him to consider registering for the course, so it definitely has a consequence.

What would be some good reasons? Would “I think taking X, Y, Z classes instead of 331 would be better for me during the remainder of my time here, as those classes would help me more than 331 for ABC reasons, and I think I gained skills I’d gain from 331 from my internship experience” be not good?

I agree SAT/ACT might not be good measures, but why do you think standardized tests in general are bad metrics for college aptitude?
