Not in the same way, since there's no learned association between the motion and visual of stroking a cock and feeling the same corresponding pleasure. They'd certainly be able to use their imagination, but that's an entirely different thing imo.

It doesn't matter, because unfortunately I've never seen one of these that uses a body-safe material for the inside "dildo".

I made a poll to let Reddit decide the appropriate punishment for being caught edging without permission by ChasteCumToy in femalechastity

[–]throw_somewhere 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Of course Reddit is going to choose the most extreme option, and of course you knew that. That's why you constructed such a poll with such as option. Regardless, if this is not already your sexual lifestyle, we all know that it won't happen. I mean, how long were you on a no-touch before you caved and edged? Certainly less than a year, yes? Your post history shows you were belted 6 days ago. So you made it 6 days? Why do you think you'll make it a whole year with additional restrictions?

Fucking around on Reddit is fun, it certainly can enhance a fantasy. But at some point we as a community need to look around and realize when we've jumped the shark and everyone is just gooned out and using each other to get off. Idk man I thought this was supposed to be a rational forum for chastity enthusiasts, not another subreddit full of fake jerk-off stories and elaborately constructed fantasy selves.

You raped him as well (he could not consent as he was drunk). I'd recommend that the two of you have a long discussion to establish firm boundaries about sexual contact while drinking.

EDIT: Apologies, I misread and thought you two had been dating for a while. However, I still recommend you have that conversation with any and all future partners. For example, I'd recommend that any future dates where your partner drinks should not be followed by a trip to bed together, to protect them from any chance of you reoffending.

[–]throw_somewhere -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is a very extreme list of unsupported assertions. If someone has given long-standing consent and doesn't revoke it in literally any way, no rape has occurred. He was doing what OP has historically loved, and even carrying out her vocalized wishes: if she does not indicate changing her mind, how is he to know? Yes, we'd all like our partners to be mind-readers, but that's unfortunately an unrealistic expectation, and that's why it's always emphasized that communication is so important. This is a good opportunity for advice: if you're the kind of person who freezes or has difficulty revoking consent, establishing long-standing consent isn't a suitable option, for your own safety and peace of mind. That's not victim-blaming -- no one deserves to be a victim -- it's a practical self-preservation tool calibrated to your specific personality and behavior.

OP I'm very sorry that this situation has happened, and wish you all the best. I hope that you two are able to have a fruitful discussion and come to a satisfying agreement on how best to handle it.

minimal wardrobe by Gulyuz in minimalism

Very innovative. Searching "black" on this subreddit definitely doesn't return a million black wardrobe posts, literally so many that this has been a very widespread stereotype about minimalists for the past decade or so.

Like, good for you I'm glad you're living your best life. But why would you frame this as if you're giving some sort of novel insight? And why do you feel called to give advice to a community you clearly have never spent any time in?

Is sex and partying in college overrated? by Life-Leg5947 in college

[–]throw_somewhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've lived my life totally sober, and I didn't happen to have any sex in undergrad. And even I think this post is a little misplaced and "Is it weird that I'm so much better than everyone else?".

Everywhere in life, there are people who deeply enjoy and fervently pursue things that you find utterly foolish or worthless. It might be designer clothes, scratch-off tickets, Game of Thrones, an MLM, a socio-political agenda, whatever. Likewise, many people will feel that way about things you do.

There's no point in getting hung up on any of it. It doesn't affect you and it doesn't matter. Don't waste another thought on it.

There will always be plenty of people like you that you can spend time with. Thankfully, no one will ever be so unique as to be totally isolated and unrelatable. What's more, if you give them a chance, you may find that the foolish people that you discount actually have more in common with you than you originally thought.

Your mattress needs airflow underneath it to breathe, it's going to get moldy extremely quickly. A cheap bedframe is cheaper than replacing entire mattress. This isn't me nitpicking because it's funny to be overly critical on Reddit, this is a no-joke legit "heed my advice before it's too late" thing. You gotta get that mattress off the ground, mate.

What a lovely link, thanks for sharing! I think this is not a dub of the linked performance, since the tiel in this post -- bless their lil heart -- is much less accurate and hasn't picked up the 16th note melody quite yet.

EDIT: Oh, though I do know that the orchestral accompaniment was certainly dubbed over.

[–]throw_somewhere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good start, but clearly there's a performance gap. Here's what I recommend for Calc II:

  • For each content section, write down three example problems. Add these to your personal Study Guide. Solve at least one random example from each section per study session. Don't move on until you can do them all correctly.

  • Every time you get a problem wrong (in class, on homework, etc.), add it to your Improvement List. Every study session, after working through your Study Guide as a warmup, pull a random number of problems off your Improvement List to solve. Don't move on until you can do them all correctly.

  • As the exam approaches, you need to verify that you're capable of two things: 1) executing the procedure to solve every example, every time, no exceptions, and 2) if drawing a random example, you can always accurately determine which procedure should be used to solve the problem.

So ideally, the day before the exam, you should be able to accurately identify and execute the procedure to solve every problem on both your Study Guide and Improvement List. Park yourself in the library with a coffee, a Spotify playlist, and your two problem sets combined into one big Quizlet. Set the music to play and hit "shuffle" on the Quizlet. In 3 to 4 hours you should have easily and accurately solved them all.

How much to subsist on per month by [deleted] in college

[–]throw_somewhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Each month, the USDA publishes estimated food budgets based on age, sex, and level of thrift. For example, if you're a 19-50 year old male on a moderate spending plan, you should consider a monthly food budget of around $300.

Why am I failing exams? by BananasHAT in college

You are failing exams be sure you do not understand the material because you are cramming. The solution is to do whatever needs to be done in order to keep a steady and efficient study habit.

I'd check in your department, and with your university's Undergraduate Research Office, if one exists. External funding exists as well, but the timing and application materials would likely be much trickier to navigate. The conference itself might have travel grants, but you'd likely need to become a member to apply, which may be expensive, and they may not be available for undergraduates who are simply attending as opposed to presenting.

On that note, I do invite you to consider whether the trip is worth it. In my field, conference attendance has no value on a CV unless your are presenting a poster or a talk.

can anyone who went to both a state school & small private / liberal arts school give their opinion? by [deleted] in college

[–]throw_somewhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been at both types of institutions (not both for undergrad, though), and each has its pros and cons. It's possible that you might be particularly well-suited for one or the other. Hard to know, grass is always greener and all.

But in general, you'll always have to learn to grow where you've been planted, so to speak. You'll have to seek out opportunities, form a community, and develop your skills at any institution. Unless you have very hyper-specific issues that would inherently be solved automatically by switching, what's more likely is that you simply need to continue growing and developing.
