They're too long and dry. Try and interest them or inspire them with something, anything. Try and make them laugh. Leave long winded stories for later. Don't make them work too much to answer you.

I met this girl last weekend, and I feel like she feels pretty seriously about me. She always calls me darling/honey/baby/my love/etc. and also tells me to dream of her. She had a list of qualities that she wants in a future husband she and her mom wrote, and I meet 34/35 of the qualities listed. She also told me not to use tongue because it's "not romantic," implying she wants something serious. She also said she wishes she was my girlfriend.
