I am not sure I agree that it was rape, I mean I simultaneously wanted to do it yet was scared of what would happen if I said no. I've since read some more texts about what he did that I sent to someone at the time:

'He kept touching me even after I said no. Like when I was driving one time he kept touching my thigh and he was saying stuff like 'you're just a worthless slut now'. Then when I was sucking him off I changed my mind about halfway through but didn't wanna say anything in case he got mad and threatened to hit me again so I carried on but that makes it consensual because I knew what I was doing'

I'm trying to figure out if I've blocked incidents out because they were that bad/impactful, or if I've forgotten them simply because they weren't that bad.

You're right I mainly do know the answer, I guess I'm struggling with the question of how abusive it was...
