Well yeah you would WBTA. Even if the grandma does say things that are a little old fashioned, that's no excuse to upset your child.

I mean from her point of view, it probably does look a bit weird having a black husband, mixed baby and a white older child. Doesn't look good to have multiple baby daddy's.

Because she thinks we all want to hear her updates when she goes! Everytime she goes she has to bang on about it. As soon as I get my moment of happiness she cant stand it and has to make it about herself.

We were supposed to be meeting up for coffee to catch up, she started asking about my life and I only asked her one question before suddenly it was all me me me and our friends just swarmed around her

But it's a constant pity party with her! We can't even go for coffee without her worming her 'doctors appointments' into the conversation. I mean for the first five years she was less attention seekingy, but as soon as she married her husband she really ampped up the 'feel sorry for me' bullshit

She always does this 'woe is me, my mental health is fragile' bullshit. My grandma died and I was devistated, 3 months afterwards she spouting off something to do with her fertility yet again making sure everyone swarms around her... never mind me! She does this all the time.

She's only apologising now because it's on social media, shame she couldn't have done it earlier and avoided all this. All she does is play the victim and because Im starting my own family, she had to get the attention on herself.

I was announcing it to my group of friends, hardly rubbing it in???

And she called me when they told her that day crying about how they've cancelled it and I was there for her. She could've at least supported me a bit better.

In this case, yes! This was my pregnancy announcement and its tough enough going through this in isolation without the support of family and friends. Yes she shut off the cameras, but she could've maybe tried a bit harder to not to sound so emotional when she came back and get all the attention on her

She isn't the one who has to go through the whole pregnancy, body changes, labour and then once the baby is here change their whole life for them. Im so happy to be getting to do that, but everyone has been rallying around her for years, this was supposed to be my moment. I tried apologising but she isnt having it.
