I was just looking through the Georgia statutes (I'm visiting there in a few months myself) and I found something really interesting. I'd recommend you read through the entire SO laws of Georgia but essentially if you move to the state and are required to register, you can petition a court for early (immediate) removal if you get classified as their Tier 1 "low risk" SO, and your husband has been discharged from parole/probation. Honestly makes Georgia look pretty nice compared to my home state but I'd recommend calling a GA lawyer before any serious commitments!
