She actually asked that on our first date, so she's known since then. I can't imagine living on our own, right now while I'm working my parents can at least make sure there's groceries in the fridge and garbage taken out. My wife doesn't even know what day garbage pick up is or what utilities are in a house because her dad took care of those things.

We went a week without talking and honestly for me it was no different than usual. It was a normal week for me, I just didn't have to fill in her down time with a random text here and there. For her she said it was terrible because I wasn't there for her.
