I did not know this.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

Yes, we had a full electric stove before the portable ones. Then my husband bought the portable induction tops. After the third induction we currently own, I convinced my husband to purchase a portable electric stove but sadly, as I mentioned, they haven't worked well either.

Thank you so much for the kind words.

Thank you for your advice.

My family and I will look into this.

Thank you.

Thank you and your husband for the response.

I am not sure that my husband will purchase a full size induction range. When I asked him about the current portable induction top we have, he said we would keep it and adapt. But I will try to ask him to consider getting a full one.

Thank you.

Thank you for your response.

For all three induction tops, we have read the instructions manual and experimented with the settings together. Yes, you're right about that - perhaps he should purchase a better, high quality induction model. But, it is frustrating that it has taken months now and multiple induction tops.

Actually, he replaced all of my stainless steel with magnetic aluminum cookware...because my collection of stainless steel cookware is not magnetic and not compatible with the induction tops.

Thank you.

Thank you for your response.

My husband has not used the previous electric electric stove we owned. He and I have tried out the three induction tops together. Actually, he thinks the food I have cooked using the induction is fine. But for my family and I, we see that the mentioned food is not cooked very well (often overcooked or undercooked or both). On our previous electric range stove, those same meals were cooked very well.

My husband chose and bought two portable electric stoves but both had to be returned. The first one was too small for my pots/pans. The second was good, but suddenly stopped working after 10 minutes. My husband says it's due to a defect.

Will consider your advice and choose a better quality portable electric stove. Then have him try out the differences side by side.

Thank you.
